How to use your cutter:
1. Prepare your decorating medium: Roll fondant, modeling chocolate, or gum paste to your desired thickness. For small cake pop decorations, a thinner layer generally works best.
2. Dust if needed: Lightly dust your work surface and/or decorating medium with cornstarch or powdered sugar to prevent sticking.
3. Cut your shape: Place the cutter on the material and press down firmly and evenly. Gently wiggle the cutter if needed to ensure a clean cut.
4: Remove the excess: Carefully peel away the excess material, leaving your cut shape in place.
5. Assemble your design: For the hat pieces, gently line up the edges and press them together to form the cone. Once the cone is shaped, apply a small amount of edible glue to the bottom edge of the cone and attach it to the round base shape. Gently press to secure.
6. Attach to your treat: Allow the decoration to firm up slightly, if necessary, then attach it to your cake pop, cookie, or other treat using a small amount of edible glue or melted chocolate.
